Undergroundsound is a post production sound facility in downtown Wellington, and a major change of pace for us.  We produced a site that is subdued while remaining strong in terms of design, rounded off by embedded YouTube content and an elegant, Flash-driven navigation system which recalls the faders so typical of recoding equipment.

Rapid Copy are a small, friendly and highly motivated digital print company in Thorndon and their motto is "Time is of the Essence at Rapid Copy".

The site we developed for them captures some of the breadth and scope of their activity and we highlighted customers and services that one might not immediately associate with a digital print shop.

Being one of NZ's most important legal firms in the field of historic abuse, they are also a small and friendly team.  Our design incorporated the tree, being an important part of their office environment. A tree's roots go deep into the soil (a symbol for community and the past) and it provides shelter and, in many cultures it is also a traditional meeting place.

We provided a web presence that was clean, crisp and informative for their clients and any potential clients.

Experience Upper Hutt

Experience Upper Hutt is a Upper Hutt City Council-financed initiative that works with the CBD retailers to enable growth in their businesses.  Our design spoke directly about the CBD and we provided an area to promote the initiatives and all the businesses in Upper Hutt. An events calendar was created alongside a bespoke business search engine.

Vista Del Sol Estate

For Vista Del Sol, a luxury B&B on the Kapiti Coast, we created a site that is easy to maintain and, by its elegant and sunny design, reflects Vista Del Sol Estate perfectly.

Design features include a mechanism for approving user comments before publishing them online, a variety of pre-written templates which allow the site owners to assemble a page complete with photographs with a minimum of fuss and a degree of search engine optimisation (SEO), essential in the highly competitive holiday accommodation market.  We also contributed to the copywriting and incorporated GoogleMaps and ViaNet's buttons for online bookings.

Fitness Tran4mations is a successful mobile training business and finalist in the Upper Hutt Excellence in Business Awards.  The redesign uses bold primary colours as a way of underlining the strong, dynamic nature of the business. The site also includes a bespoke shopping cart module.

Translation: SARTIE Handbags Press Release

SARTIE is a designer handbag label from Milan, Italy: their slogan is "intimate luxury" and their Italian language press release, announcing a new season's line inspired by the avantgarde artist Yves Klein's use of the colour blue, was lush and rich in allusion. And, in a way that's typical of SARTIE's exquisite sense of design, it managed to blend in a clear description of the new handbag line.

Our English translation preserved the vivid imagery of the original while adopting a "sparser" tone, more familiar to English readers.
